Travel's must attend event for connection, insight and influence

Connect

One of the main reasons delegates return to The Travel Convention every year is for the chance to connect as a group of senior-level travel professionals, and this year will be no exception. A programme of social events and activities is designed to encourage meaningful interaction throughout the three days.

Welcome Party

Monday

The Welcome Party, hosted by Visit Portugal and the Madeira Promotion Bureau, will take place in the gardens of Restaurante O Terreiro, an elegant open-air setting. As the first official event of the Convention, it is a chance to catch up with familiar faces, make early connections and ease yourself into the days ahead.

Delegates will enjoy a gastronomic experience rooted in Madeiran culinary traditions with international influences, showcasing the best of fresh, local ingredients.

Live entertainment will add to the atmosphere as the night unfolds, creating a vibrant atmosphere as the Convention gets underway.

Host Party

Tuesday

The Host Party will take place at Jard.in Magnólia, set within the historic Quinta Magnólia gardens – one of Funchal’s most iconic green spaces. Combining heritage with modern style through indoor and outdoor spaces, the venue is surrounded by more than 8.65 acres of landscaped gardens and exotic plants, creating a natural and refined setting.

Delegates will enjoy contemporary Madeiran cuisine showcasing fresh, seasonal ingredients, served as sharing dishes to suit a sociable evening. With its relaxed ambiance, enhanced by ambient music, open-air spaces, and a vibrant evening atmosphere, Jard.in Magnólia will provide the perfect backdrop for a Party that is both stylish and memorable, bringing together nature, gastronomy, and social energy.
