Travel's must attend event for connection, insight and influence
Post-convention tours
ABTA members are invited to deepen their knowledge of Portugal through an immersive post-convention tour in one of the country’s regions.
Each tour offers a rich insight into Portugal’s heritage and culture, blending gastronomy, local traditions, and breath-taking natural landscapes with visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites. Attendees will also take part in a range of authentic, hands-on activities designed to bring each destination to life.
All tours run from Thursday 15 October through to Saturday 17 October or Sunday 18 October.
The cost to join a tour is £150 + VAT. This includes your domestic flight to the region, transfers, accommodation, and meals as outlined in the itineraries. Please note that you will be responsible for arranging your return travel home once the tour concludes.

Algarve
This tour will showcase the region’s inland countryside and stunning coastline, with a focus on local gastronomy, traditional villages, and land & sea experiences.
Domestic flight from Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport (FNC) to Faro Airport (FAO) is included.

This tour will offer an insight into the region’s rich heritage and authentic traditions, featuring historic towns, UNESCO World Heritage sites, renowned wine estates, and unique craftsmanship.

This tour will explore São Miguel Island's lush landscapes and volcanic scenery, with a focus on nature, sustainability, and local traditions.
